In short, you can book a new Perodua from their official website (go to the ‘Our Models’ tab and click on ‘Book Now’) for a refundable booking fee of RM100 (subject to terms and conditions). Choose your model, colour and GearUp options; fill in your particulars; choose your preferred outlet and sales advisor (SA); pay the RM100 via FPX and you’re all set.

As for the hire purchase loan, you can choose to liaise with your SA (instead of applying immediately online) or do it via the UFirst app upon signing the e-Vehicle sales order. It’s all guided, so you just need to follow the flow.

Perodua ‘I Love Malaysia’ promotion – cash rebates up to RM1.5k for Ativa, up to RM3k for Aruz; until Sept 30

As the month of September is when the nation celebrates Malaysia Day, Perodua celebrates by offering its ‘I Love Malaysia’ promotion for the Ativa and Aruz throughout the month, until September 30, 2024.
Customers who trade in their existing vehicle with Perodua Pre-Owned Vehicles (POV) can enjoy cash rebates of up to RM1,500 for their purchase of an Ativa, or cash rebates of up to RM3,000 for their purchase of an Aruz. Bookings for vehicles purchased on trade-in are to be made at authorised Perodua showrooms.
This promotion for the month of September essentially extends the promotion for the Ativa and Aruz that was run from August, when rebates of similar sums were offered. If you were planning to take advantage of the offers but missed out last month, here’s your chance.
The Ativa is currently the sole Perodua model offered with a turbocharged powerplant, featuring a 1.0 litre turbocharged three-cylinder producing 98 PS and 140 Nm of torque driving the front wheels through a D-CVT transmission. The Ativa starts from RM62,500 for the X variant, ranging up to RM73,400 for the AV variant with the black roof finish.
The Aruz is the brand’s raised seven-seater MPV, offering a 220 mm ground clearance that is 60 mm more than that offered by the lower-riding Alza, which also seats seven. The Aruz gets the naturally aspirated 1.5 litre 2NR-VE four-cylinder petrol, which makes 102 PS at 6,000 rpm and 133 Nm of torque at 4,200 rpm. Drive goes to the rear wheels vi..

Myvi facelift misalnya […]

Perodua Ativa facelift rendered by Theophilus Chin

Having been launched in 2021, the Perodua Ativa has been on sale for over three years now, which could make it ripe for a facelift, given that the related Daihatsu Rocky/Toyota Raize twins were launched in 2019.
For comparison, the Myvi facelift arrived four years after the third-generation car made its debut, while the Bezza facelift came along three and a half years after the original. Here, visual rendition maestro Theophilus Chin has offered his take on a ‘deep facelift’ of the Malaysian carmaker’s compact SUV.
The visual rendition here borrows heavily from the Toyota Crown Sport, with changes to the Ativa applied to most of its bodywork save for its glasshouse, including the windscreen, windows and roof. Even the red-and-black colour scheme of the Crown Sport is borrowed here, too.

Much of the front fascia is taken from the Crown Sport and draped over the taller, narrower Ativa form, including its lower intake and foglamp housings. In place of the Crown Sport’s split level headlamp arrangement, the upper section of the front fascia has been ‘deleted’ and in its place, a more conventional grille and headlamp arrangement fills the gap.
Similarly at the rear, much is taken from the Crown Sport, from its tail lamp assemblies, rear quarter panel vents, rear bumper and license plate position. Viewed in profile, even the door panel sculpting, lower trim and wheel house cladding is carried over from the Crown Sport, albeit adapted for the Ativa’s prop..

Perodua Merdeka promo – Ativa gets RM1,500 cash rebate, RM3,000 discount for Aruz, now till August 31

Perodua is having a ‘Semangat Kemerdekaan’ promo for the Ativa and Aruz for August 2024. The compact turbocharged SUV can be yours with a RM1,500 cash rebate, while the high-riding seven-seater MPV is being offered with a RM3,000 discount. These deals are from now till August 31.
Launched in March 2021, the Ativa is still the only Perodua with a turbocharged engine. The A-segment SUV – the first P2 to ride on the DNGA platform – is powered by a 1.0-litre downsized turbo triple with 98 PS and 140 Nm of torque from 2,400 to 4,000 rpm. It’s paired to the D-CVT gearbox that’s now a mainstay for the market leader. The Ativa is priced from RM62,500 for the base X to RM73,400 for the top AV with the black roof option.
Introduced in early 2019, the Aruz is seven-seat MPV with SUV styling and ground clearance that’s higher than most SUVs (220 mm). This is the Aruz’s biggest differentiator from P2’s other seven-seater, the Alza – that one is car-like and rides 60 mm lower. For those who want tall car visibility and peace of mind from minor flooding, the Aruz would be a good tool.
The powertrain consists of a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine with 102 PS/133 Nm, and a four-speed torque converter automatic sending drive to the rear axle. Passion Red joined the colour range in late 2021.

Trade-in for a Perodua Ativa, Aruz for two years free service – 7-seater gets extra RM2.5k off, ends July 31

Click to enlargePerodua is having a trade-in promo for the Ativa and Aruz for July 2024. Both the compact turbocharged SUV and the high-riding seven-seater MPV can be yours with two years of free service, with Aruz buyers getting an additional RM2,500 cash rebate.
It looks like this promo is done together with the company’s POV pre-owned vehicles division, as you’ll have to trade-in a vehicle to get the offer. By the way, Perodua’s POV takes in cars from all makes but will only resell Perodua cars. The deal expires on July 31.
